Olympics 2012 in Teddington - Additional Road and Bushy Park Closures

As we approach next week's exciting events in Teddington, please see some information regarding additional road closures and the dates and the times of Bushy Park closures too.

Monday 30 July 6.30pm until Wednesday 1 August 8.00pm

At Ferry Road (between Cloister Close and Twickenham Road) there will be a 30 metre suspension of parking (approx 6 spaces) between the entrance to The Landmark Arts Centre and a point opposite Twickenham Road due to parking of street cleansing and welfare vehicles.

Friday 27 July 6.30pm until Sunday 29 July 8.00pm and Tuesday 31 July 6.30pm until Wednesday 1 August 8.00pm

There will be a suspension of all parking areas in The Causeway and both sides of Broad Street (between High Street and The Causeway) due to essential vehicle parking for all cycle events including: street lighting, highways contractors, street cleansing, barrier trucks and welfare vehicles for all staff on ground.

On Shacklegate Lane (northern side only) there will be a suspension of parking along cemetery side of road (entire length). There will be emergency access to landlocked areas during cycle events - Friday 27 July 6.30pm until Sunday 29 July 8.00pm and Friday 27 July 6.30pm until Sunday 29 July 8.00pm.

At the Lower Teddington Road and Broom Road junction at Normansfield Avenue there will be a suspension of parking from Monday 30 July 6.30pm until Wednesday 1 August 8.00pm. There will also be a temporary 285 bus route diversion during the road race weekend - Friday 27 July 6.30pm until Sunday 29 July 8.00pm.

Bushy Park will be closed from 2100 on Friday 27th July until 0700 on Monday 30th July.

The park will also be closed from 2100 on Tuesday, 31st July until 0700 on Thursday, 2nd August.
