The snow is coming down again in Teddington this evening and if you’re staying close to home this week here‘s a few suggestions to entertain yourself and family if you're feeling snowbound!
-
Teddington Snowman, Kingston Lane, Teddington

Snowman in Kingston Lane Teddington
-
Teddington Tandoori Menu, High Street, Teddington
If you can’t beat it join it by following Kingston Lane residents who've been busy making snowmen using coal and carrots for noses! We should have a snowman competition on Teddington People – so all entries and photographs are now welcome!
Would you like a hamper put together for you before Christmas? Ellis’s (formerly Petit Auberge) on the High Street is putting together ingenious hampers that you can pre-order until 4pm on Christmas Eve. Alternatively, if you want to keep warm with hot food, hot drinks, cakes and chocolate this is the place to be!
If you’re looking for reading material, Teddington Library is open and warm so you can sit and read the papers, catch up on any reading material and use the computers too!
If you missed the papers yesterday Teddington resident and Observer columnist Viv Groskop wrote an article in the Observer magazine entitled “The End of Jumpers for Goalposts.”
The article explains how her son Will, aged 7 and a Liverpool supporter, received a yellow card in a game and she discusses how children are being coached as professional footballers and effects. You can read the article here and if you’ve any comments on the article or you know of a local team for Will, please let us know on Teddington People. We're following Viv on Tweet Teddington.
If you fancy a warming curry in the evenings this week, Teddington Tandoori offers free home delivery with a minimum order of £10 from 530pm-1130pm Monday-Sunday. The take-away menus have a £5 discount voucher on the front cover - so if you order over £25 the discount is yours!
If you’ve any brilliant ideas on how to get through the snow week, please let Teddington know!
