Electricity work at Lower Teddington Road, Teddington
There will be some 300 metres of new cables being installed - from the Lower Teddington Road right through to Canbury Gardens in Kingston. The cables will be placed within the pipeline underneath the Thames using a technique called directional drilling.
In total, the project will take 5 months to complete. Work on Lower Teddington Road is due to last just over two months and work in Station Road, Hampton Wick will last another month.
There will be temporary traffic lights in operation so if you are travelling in and out of Teddington towards Hampton Wick and Kingston there are likely to be delays. The lights are required because of the vehicles and equipment necessary for the project.
If you commute on train to and from Hampton Wick there will be temporary traffic lights in Station Road too.
