    It has been announced that new electricity cables need to be installed under the river by UK Power Networks.  The work will start next month in May.     Reports of incidents of tree felling that have been going on at Teddington station by Network Rail have come to light.  It seems that no-one in Teddington was aware that the tree felling was going to happen, and now the situation is creating a debate throughout the town.     Teddington Lock Bridge Closure - dates changed
    The dates for the Teddington Lock Bridge closure have been changed. The bridge will no longer be closed at the weekend - but will be closed tomorrow Thursday, 28th October and Friday, 29th October. If you are travelling to and from Ham and Kingston, the buses are 285 and 281 to and from Kingston and the 65 bus goes from Kingston - Ham - Kingston.
