The Middlesex Sevens is all set for  Saturday, 14th August 2010.

It’s a really famous rugby event for charity going back, I believe, almost 100 years.

As it’s just a short step away from Teddington at Twickenham Rugby Stadium it may be a good idea to put the date in the diary – so you can go along - or - avoid the traffic if you are travelling out of Teddington towards Twickenham and Richmond!

As well as the rugby, there will be entertainment options for all the family such as music, face painting and a party that runs throughout the day.

The first game kicks off at 1030am and the last game kicks-off at 635pm.

You will be able to see famous teams such as local Harlequins and other teams such as the Leicester Tigers.  Famous players take part too and there will be some guest teams put together also.

All proceeds go to charity – supporting youth rugby, memorial funds and injured players, and the Help for Heroes charity.

Please see the website for further all information and tickets - https://www.middlesexrugbysevens.com/

If you can’t get to the stadium, it’s possible to watch the charity sevens on TV and I am sure that several of our Teddington pubs will be showing the game.
