If you're a specialist when it comes to running, if you take it at all seriously or even if you just do it regularly then it's worth popping in to Sweat Shop. It was set up by Chris Brasher who established the London Marathon, I believe, as well as winning a gold medal at the Olympics. Decades later it's still in the family and they really do manage to bring together a lot in a relatively small shop. The staff seem to be highly trained in what they're doing/selling. They stock all kinds of high quality running gear, and they have a treadmill to test your active gait in order to sort you out with the right trainers for you. They also organise running clubs and have their ear to the ground when it comes to running events all over the country. Plus it has a great name.
