Both the food and the service were exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the casoncelli and the filetto di Manzo - so much so that we ordered the pasta again for dessert!

New in Teddington, Al Borgo offers honest, authentic, seasonal and freshly prepared Italian dishes with a modern twist.
Having read all the reviews I was very excited to visit this restaurant, but was disappointed by mediocre food and grumpy service. We won't be returning. With so many other restaurants to choose from even if they were having a bad day it isn't worth the risk
went along to Al Borgo last week for the first time with friends and was very impressed. Delicious food & excellent service, really enjoyed my food and the owners were friendly and in no rush to get us to leave - another plus. Thank you Al Borgo - I'll be back!!
This is the perfect place to go for a special occasion. Although the prices are above average for your average Italian restaurant, Al Borgo is way above average! The menu is not your run-of-the mill Italian food, and offers an imaginative seasonal selection of dishes (pasta, gnocchi, meat and fish), often using top quality ingredients such as wild mushrooms and truffles. The restaurant has a cosy, friendly atmosphere, and the owners Marco and Nicola will give you the 'treatment' to ensure that you leave a happy customer.
Al Borgo opend up quietly towards the end of last year and I was rather sceptical due to the lack of patronage and the pricing. However, after visiting for a working lunch one afternoon I was blown away by the service, the food and the tranquil atmosphere they have created in this fantasic little eatery. We now visit regularly and this is a firm favourite for me. A Limoncello at the end of the evening with the proprietor certainly rounds off the evening!!
