Enjoyed an evening out this week at Pizza Express in Waldegrave Road who rarely fail to please Not being one to eat late I joined the 7pm

set only to find the bambino gang still slurping ice cream. The waiter

kindly sat us away from the kids after I requested to distance myself

from anyone shorter than I (at just a mere 4ft 11in)!

Bit disappointed that they no longer do a house red and that you now

chose from  the wine list but the prices are average and the wines are

fine.

My starter of mozzarella, tomatoes and leaves was lovely. Pizza

American to follow which was devoured far too quickly but it was too

nice to chew each mouthful the required 32 times!

Sadly some toad had swiped the last piece of cheese cake leaving me to finish with only a fresh mint tea. Fab. Not an expensive evening but reliable, tasty and worth every penny.

The service is efficient and atmosphere congenial. Give it a go!
