What do you do when your car or vehicle comes to the end of its useful life? You can't just leave it untaxed and unwanted by the side of the road.

It should be disposed of responsibly by an authorised end of life treatment facility, where the vehicle will be depolluted and any reusable parts will be recycled. G Crook and Sons - Angel Autos are probably the largest authorised vehicle dismantler / breaker and recycler in West Dorset!
G Crook and Sons, who have owned the premises of the former Angel Autos and Angel Autoparts since November 2009, have invested in the site and developed it. They aim to recycle as much as possible and have as many consumable parts as possible, tested and, on the shelf to save you time and effort having to remove the part yourself. All parts are computer bar coded, so when you phone up, or call in, for a part we can tell you if it is in stock. They also have a fully equiped tyre bay with experienced trained staff; here they are able to supply, fit and balance part worn tyres - again G Crook and Sons Angel Autos are helping reduce the cost of motoring.

"We currently have around 500 cars in the yard, we have fresh cars coming in daily and change the yard stock on a regular basis. We will take cars from private and trade customers, from 1 car upwards. If your vehicle is a non runner, don't worry, we will bring one of our HGV rated, collection vehicles to your home or place of work and take the vehicle away. We can collect up to 9 vehicles at a time. The vehicle will be depoluted using the very latest equipment and the majority of parts recycled. For your peace of mind all vehicles that we scrap and recycle are issued with a "C-O-D" certificate of destruction. This means that you are no longer responsible for the vehicle and it confirms that the vehicle has been destroyed."

This is a very good question, and one that is close to everyones heart. G Crook and Sons Angel Autos are keen buyers of all vehicles; Cars, Lorries, 4 x 4's, trailers, and scrap metals. Owing to the fluctuation in the prices of used metals and the weight of individual vehicles, we are unable to put down a standard price.
