The Square Broom Road Teddington - next phase for completion
Last weekend, as we mentioned on Teddington People, was the open weekend and I went along to Broom Road to take a look for myself. We took a look at local property a few weeks ago on the site.
The old flats on the site, which were red brick and had small windows, have been completely re-designed. The new design is vastly different with white paintwork, large windows and wooden panels on the frontage. What do you think of the design? Does it fit into Teddington?
The flats are a mixture of sizes –studio flats, one, two and three bedrooms, with a concierge service also. Inside they have state-of-the-art from the kitchens, kitchen appliances and bathrooms/wet rooms through to the solid wooden floors and doors, under floor heating and decorative handles.
The outside boundary is still to be planted up with laurels which should give the development a more ‘settled’ feel.
The glossy marketing materials describe the flats in detail and are available from the marketing suite. The brochure, whilst promoting Teddington as a desirable place to live, has also promoted local Teddington businesses including -
Marks and Spencer get a mention as does the new King’s Head and The Lensbury Club. Local facilities such as Teddington Studios and Bushy Park are mentioned too.
If you’re passing, take a look and tell us know what you think.
