New football season is upon us!

We’re back in the football season and we can look forward to plenty of discussion on the premier league games as we had during the World Cup on our Twitter page.

Remember to tap in to fantastic football information from Teddington based Four Four Two  - and if you tweet - they’re certainly on the pulse with their footie tweets too.

Teddington’s football scene is a bit quiet!  There’s plenty going on for Teddington children but it’s quieter on the grown up front.

Today I got in touch with Amanda who runs Teddington FC, our local club who play in the Amateur Football Combination to try and find out some more information.

The bad news is that there’s no website for the club and the team can’t play in Teddington due to financial constraints.  Any offers anyone?  Also they don’t play in claret and blue – but red and white!

The good news is that I suggested to Amanda that the team put a facebook fan page together and some information on the Teddington People website so we can find out more information about the club, the players, the games and support our team!  

Season kicks off– on 18th September  - so watch this space for more news on Teddington FC.
