If you’re a commuter, a NatWest customer or you're dropping the children off at Asquith, you will have seen the new Kindle shop that has opened on Monday this week in Station Road.  We covered plans for the new shop previously.

Kindle chose Teddington for the shop location because we’re “known to be an environmentally aware area.”

The Kindle founders, Clare and Guy Collins are “fond of the area as they used to live nearby when they were based in London and it’s a lovely spot!”  We couldn’t agree more!

Have you been in to see the new wood burning stoves yet?

With our heating bills going up, (although we’re told to use less energy), agencies looking to find greener solutions, stoves are being innovated and improved all the time and ‘clean-burn’ stoves are permitted to be used in our smoke-control area.  They seem to be very popular and can be placed in all types of housing, from traditional to contemporary.

“With the double challenge of rapidly rising fossil fuel prices and the need to reduce our carbon emissions, a wood burning stove is a wonderful solution and is now possible wherever you live” says Guy Collins.

“Not only will a wood-burning stove reduce your annual heating bills but burning wood harvested from sustainable sources is carbon-neutral, so it is also a great option for the environment and they look great” adds Guy.

Kindle offer a full supply and HETAS registered installation service with a wide range of DEFRA approved stoves including the famous Clearview Stoves.

Kindle also offer wood supply and fireplace alterations.

Amazing products, helpful shop staff, appalling organisation, disinterested and dismissive installation staff.

Missing part on delivery, 1 week passed with no updates except when chasing them, made to feel like i am hassling them,no idea when the £4400 cold lump of iron in the extension will be usable as a heat source.

Buy a stove but....from somewhere else!
