English Heritage and Teddington buildings

English Heritage’s 'Heritage at Risk' register was published on Wednesday and includes a wealth of historical and historic buildings all over the country.
Please take a look here.
If you search by town name it often comes up with several results! But if you are looking for something in particular around the country, try adding in the county into the search so you can find the heritage sites that you are looking for.
I checked the list to see what came up for Teddington.
And yes, not without surprise, the old Normansfield Hospital on the Kingston Road has been officially flagged as ‘at risk’ - see here.
I knew it was a Grade II listed building and that it could do with some serious TLC, but I didn’t realise that half the building has been stolen or suffered so much water damage...
I have been in the theatre once only as it’s not far from where I live in Teddington and the building and the land are certainly part of Teddington’s historical heritage.
Did you know that the building was ‘at risk’ and do you think that the building should be saved?
Does anyone have any particular memories of these buildings and have any suggestions for community use for the buildings?
