Kings Head transformation into a welcome addition on Teddington High Street

I was interested to read alisond's 'update on works at former Kings Head / soon to be Brasserie Blanc'....
...should be a welcome addition to the Teddington dining and drinking options, providing it offers good ingredients well handled, a decent selection of wines & beers and delivers great service (that difficult to balance art of attentiveness and efficiency).
As for the round up of current Teddington recommendations, whilst I can't profess to have visited every food / drink establishment in town, there are some, such as Scarpetta http://www.scarpetta.co.uk/special.php">http://www.scarpetta.co.uk/special.php, who deliver on all of the above elements to a consistently high standard and those, such as Sammy's, who I can't quite fathom how they can afford to turn the lights on, given the evident lack of customers.
For a relaxed lunch / early evening nibble, the chef at the Teddington Arms http://www.capitalpubcompany.com/the-teddington-arms/">http://www.capitalpubcompany.com/the-teddington-arms/ delivers consistently high quality food with a good selection of interesting beers, ciders and wine list to boot.
The Park http://www.bespokehotels.com/hotel/pages/thepark/home.htm">http://www.bespokehotels.com/hotel/pages/thepark/home.htm has been good for dinner based on my one / two visits and I'm sure there are others.
I'd love to hear other points of view and recommendations...
