Famous Wines opens in Teddington High Street

Yesterday afternoon I visited the new Famous Wines shop in Teddington High Street which opened on Thursday, 29th July on the site of the old Wine Rack store.

I spoke to Penny who kindly gave me a tour of the shop. 

The range includes a large global selection of white and red wines, a fine wine and champagne selection, real ales, lagers and spirits.  Some soft drinks, chocolate and crisps are also available.

The business is family owned and run and Famous Wines are already putting some information on to the Teddington People website.  Excellent!

Penny also took me down to the basement which is being renovated into an exciting new wine cellar.  It’s a fantastic space...so watch this space...with more news to come from Famous Wines on the plans for the cellar.

On another note, Penny is hoping to send out deliveries from the shop.  Promotions for weddings and events, ice and glass hire are coming along too.
