I just had a disaster of an evening, I came home to a kitchen full of water, more like a swimming pool and realised a pipe had burst under my kitchen sink. I called a plumber straight away who had been suggested to me by a friend. He explained on the phone how to turn off the water and after a while of me frantically jumping around twisting all types of nobs , i finally got the water off. He said he would be there within the hour. No less then 45 minutes later the plumber arrived, assessed the situation and fixed my leak. After this was done he explained how it had happened and how it could be prevented in the future. He spent a total of two hours in my home working and discussing the leak. I was expecting to pay well over the odds as it was a out of hours job, He charged me £50 and I couldnt believe it. I thought this type of honesty and workmanship ahad died long ago.
