Richmond Council promotes fostering in Teddington

I stopped at the Broad Street traffic lights this week to take the photo of the advertising banners put up by Richmond Council that promote the Council’s fostering campaign.

The banners are up on posts throughout Teddington and yesterday I also spotted them in Twickenham too.  The council seem to be seriously campaigning for fostering help for children.

I was interested to find out more because of the many banners around in the town.  I found out that there are different types of fostering, either temporary and permanent fostering.  The scheme is supported by training, there are specific standards to follow and payment is given too, alongside tax and pension incentives.
