A woman found dead at an address in Richmond over the weekend was today formally identified as Bernadeta Nawracaj, aged 43.
The identification of the body follows an incident reported on Saturday 30 November at 2pm when officers were called to an address in Lower Mortlake Road following concerns for the welfare of a resident there.
On entering the address, officers discovered the body of a woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene and police said at the time that it was being treated as suspicious.
A post-mortem examination held at Kingston Mortuary on Sunday established the cause of death to be head injuries.
Four people were arrested in connection with the murder last Sunday and one, a 23 year old woman from Lower Mortlake Road, was charged yesterday.
The police continue to make enquiries.
