Teddington Zumba Trainer nominated for Zumba Teacher of the Year

Zumba has really hit the UK by storm with its dance moves exercise and it's been very popular in Teddington too with classes at the Teddington Sports Centre, Stanley Primary, St Mary's at Langham Road and The Lensbury.

It's a fun exercise, almost a dance party, where people can join a class and have some fun whilst doing exercise.  And with all the discussion around obesity levels it has to be a good thing!

Local Zumba Teacher, Diego Avila, has been teaching the extremely popular class on Monday nights (645pm) at St Mary's Church Hall on Langham Road as well as two classes at The Lensbury Club – both classes usually have a waitlist!

Diego has now been nominated for Zumba Teacher of the Year by Latino Life UK, a web community that promotes Latin lifestyle related activities in London, for their LUKAS Awards for Outstanding Contribution to the Entertainment Industry in the category.
