We're moving towards the big event of the Teddington Year next week – the Christmas Lights Up Event, next Thursday evening. The Christmas Trees have been going up throughout the town and some are lit up already.

For those of you new to Teddington, it's usually best to leave the car at home so you can walk through the town and see everything Teddington has to offer!
The full programme of events is as follows:-
4pm
Children's Treasure Hunt (up to 16 years)
Entry forms are available from La Casa Del Habano, 76 High Street
5pm – 530pm
Carol Singing at Elmfield House, High Street, Teddington with Churches Together in Teddington and the Salvation Army
600pm
The Mayor of Richmond and Cinderella (actress Kellie Shirley) currently playing Cinderella at Richmond Theatre will switch on the Christmas Tree Lights
6pm- 9pm
The Christmas Fayre, Baptist Church, Church Road
630pm
Santa and the RNLI lifeboat in the car park of the King's Head by The Rotary Club

Most of the shops in High Street, Broad Street, Church Road and The Causeway will be opening late and here's some of the fun activities to do around the town, and some generous offers too!

St Peter and St Paul Church will be open from 5pm-8pm if you need some quiet and prayer and the church will have a small selection of cards on display.

Having the stalls in the Baptist church this year is a great idea. Im looking forward to being there. It will be a great atmosphere and a great place to shop for something a bit different. Fiona
