The well-known artist and Teddington resident, Liz Knutt, will be exhibiting her colourful artwork at Handmade Frames in Stanley Road during November and December.

The Life in Colour exhibition runs from 26th November - 24th December.

The private viewing for the exhibition is on Friday, 25th November.

Liz Knutt is a member of the Teddington Artists group and has lived in Teddington for 35 years.  She is well-known for painting local historial places in vibrant colours and this is a great opportunity to see more of her work.

Gallery owner, Daniel Gask said -

"I am so thrilled to be showing Liz's wonderful exuberant paintings. This is a celebration of Liz's life and work and a chance to see a substantial body of her work, old and new, together for the first time".

Liz trained at Edinburgh College of Art and lived in the West Indies for some time.  Her paintings of local scenes include Teddington's NPL and Waldegrave Road's Strawberry Hill House.

Liz Knutt said,

"For me to feel alive I have to have colour. Bright living colour.  In my house, my clothes, even in my hair and especially in my paintings. This exhibition will be a room full of life that I hope will give people a spiritual boost to get them through the winter months. I am full of nervous anticipation and excitement as this will be my first solo exhibition for 20 years".
