Teddington folk braved the wet weather yesterday by visiting the Teddington Village Fair and supporting the Teddington Lions.  Luckily, the stalls and the trees provided shelter from the downpours during the afternoon but there were plenty of opportunities to have some fun!

The Teddington Zumba teachers were dancing through some routines with locals joining in too.   Classes are available at the Teddington Baptist Church in Church Road on Tuesdays from 630-730pm and 800-900pm.  Or if you want to do an Abs Attack class then that's on from 730-800pm! And if you were lucky enough to be given a card, then do check the back for your free class!

The giant tea cup rides and the bouncy castle and the giant slide were entertaining the children as well as the pony rides from Park Lane Stables.  At 2pm Teddington Talent started with the crowd watching people brave enough to sing and dance!   We didn't hear many children crying at all during the afternoon.

The Teddington Lions had a bookstall and a coconut shy too – and there were queues for the shy as plenty of people wanted to have a go!  Other stalls included food and drinks, the Shooting Star, the Royal British Legion and Cat Care selling plants and shrubs.  If you got peckish, cupcakes, sweets, candyfloss, savoury snacks and crepes and waffles were on sale.

Next weekend looks like a busy one for Teddington too!  Watch Teddington People for more details throughout the week!

That looked like such a fun day out. I wish I could have been there but I was doing the London to Brighton bike ride. Love traditional fair rides, coconut shys and candyfloss!
