Teddington Lifeboat crew members are coming together (with Chiswick Lifeboat crew members) to run and walk 130 miles on treadmills – yes that's 130 miles.
This tough task will raise funds for new lifejackets. The crew's lifejackets need to be replaced at both stations – and donations will also cover the cost of running lifejacket clinics in the River Thames area; raising awareness of the use of lifejackets and how to look after lifejackets.
If you would like to go along and watch the crews, the RNLI team will be collecting from 0900am until 1830pm on both days. If you can't get along and want to help you can donate online here.
If you go along, do take some photographs, if you click on the pictures tab, it's very easy to upload them!
