The Teddington Society and friends are bringing back Teddington's “Pram Race” after a break of several years. The race will raise money for local good causes and charities.
The race, which will run on the same day as the “Teddington Village Fair”, will be held on Sunday 29th June from 12.00-17.00.
The planned race start time is 13.00 and the route will begin at the Masons Arms. The route will follow Walpole Road, Church Rd then over the railway bridge and down the High Street finishing at the Teddington Village Fair in Udney Hall Gardens. There will be pubs offering refreshment on the way.
Entry is now open for teams of up to four people to push a decorated pram or other wheeled trolley with an additional person in the pram.
There is no fancy-dress theme but as well as a prize for the fastest team over the course there will be separate awards for the Best Dressed Team, the Best Pram, the most sponsorship raised and also a Special Award.
So get a team together today and join in.
