During the week we published an article about recent comments on the Sainsbury's planning application on Richmond Council's website.
They showed the development in a fairly positive light.
However, there is a great deal of objection against the development from local residents and businesses which should be noted.
Teddington Business Community (TBC) have argued that the store would be "detrimental" to local business.
They've also argue that alcohol being sold up until 23:00 will not deter increased levels of crime and disorder.
TBC also claim there is evidence of public nuisance by groups of young people at Udney Hall Gardens as reported to the authorities by residents in Langham Road and Cloister Close.
They also say that the proposed Sainsbury's site is too near to the riverside open spaces which are already subject to antisocial behaviour.
Objections are to the proposal be can sent here.
The closing date for applications is the 20th March 2013.
