Murder investigation launched in Teddington

Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Teddington
Officers were called just after midnight last night to reports of a man who collapsed in Field Lane, Teddington.
The 20-year-old was taken to hospital in a critical condition, however he died a short time later.
Formal identification is yet to take place, with a post mortem due later today.
A 21-year-old man was arrested at a residential address in Richmond and is still in custody.
Officers are linking the murder to an incident in Teddington High Street that took place on Saturday evening, near to the Royal Oak pub.
Two men were taken to hospital, the first victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The second man sustained minor injuries and was discharged following treatment.
There have been no arrests in connection with this incident at this stage.
Officers from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating both incidents and an incident room has opened up in Sutton.
