London Olympics 2012 comes through Teddington in the summer

The dates have been announced for the Olympic Torch relay and the Cycling Road Races through Teddington.

Twickenham Road closes for the Olympic Cycle Test Event in 2011
Mark Cavendish and the Olympic Cyclists race through Teddington for the Olympic Test Race on 14th August 2011

There'll be much more information to follow but in the meantime, here are the all-important dates for your diary!

We're expecting to see some famous faces around Teddington too – with pre-training camps at The Lensbury Club and in Waldegrave Road's St Mary's University!

Tuesday, 24th July 2012 — Olympic Torch relay passing through Richmond upon Thames borough

Friday, 27th July 2012 — Opening Olympic torch passing through Richmond upon Thames borough

Saturday, 28th July 2012 — Olympic Men's Cycing Road Race

Sunday, 29th July 2012 — Olympic Women's Cycling Road Race

Wednesday, 1st August 2012 — Olympic Cycling Time Trial
