Chinese New Year – celebrating in Teddington

Teddington celebrates Chinese New Year this week and it's the Year of the Dragon! There's a few events that you can join in with around the town, mostly food related!  

The Anglers are celebrating with a Noodle Bar all week – lunchtimes and evenings  - with choices of sweet n sour prawn, teraki beef and chicken chow mein.  There's also take-away boxes and chopsticks available too!

St Mary's and St Peter's School have arranged a Fireworks Evening at the NPL Sports Ground on Friday evening.  Starting at 530pm and going on until 730pm there'll be a barbeque and fireworks too – should be a fun evening!

For a cosy take-away there's FreshFare in Broad Street serving Chinese (and Thai and Japanese) food and China Express on High Street.  For a sit-down dinner then Imperial China on Stanley Road will be serving their usual mouth-watering traditional Chinese food.
