Bring on a Teddington curry!

On a wet and cold week or weekend (even in June!), there's nothing quite like the comfort of a curry.  Whether it's a dash out into the rain for a sit down meal - or a take-away delivery, there's plenty of choice here in Teddington. Check out the hot spots, depending on the part of town and food you're after.

Broad Street, Teddington

If you're in or near to Broad Street the famous Bilas Tandoori has been in Teddington for many years. It's right on the 281/285/R68 bus routes, so a central place to meet up with friends. The menu is vast and Bilas cook up a selection of meat and fish on the Tandoori. Keep an eye out on the free papers too as there's often a 20% discount on take-aways too!

Park Road, Teddington

More intimate is Park Road's Bombay Spice which we're told offers a lot of Indian food for your money! Special offers are also available to eat in from £7.95!

Kingston Road, Teddington

You may just whizz past Haweli on the Kingston Road, but if you haven't eaten in this Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant before you may wish to give it a try. Teddington People tried it the other week with friends and the food was very good!  Just remember there's no licence so if you're all driving, it works well! And now, during the day you can pop in for soft drinks!

High Street, Teddington

High Street's Prem is a very popular restaurant with Teddington people. It's important to make a booking to secure your seats and your food, especially over the weekend! 

Another well-established and popular is the tiny Teddington Tandoori where if you like a good Balti this is where to go. If you have a take-away menu there's often a discount voucher on the front.

Stanley Road, Teddington

Stanley Road has two restaurants, The Masala and the Bengal Brasserie and they are two that are yet to be tried by Teddington People!
